Hadrians wall is within easy access and every year we have people staying with us who choose to walk the length of the wall. In the village you will find ancient churches pubs and inns along with excellent restaurants and the beautiful River Pont running through the middle and under the stone twin arched bridge. To the west and only 1 mile away is the village of Ponteland, one of the most affluent and picturesque places in the north east.
Stone Cottage is only 1/4 mile from Newcastle International Airport so perfectly placed for anyone using this mode of transport. 180 year old cottage set on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne with a feeling of being in the countryside but only 10 minutes drive from the city centre.
